MFHCO Mission
Our Mission: Assisting the rental property industry in providing a choice of affordable rental housing to Oregonians.
The safety and security of a home is essential to the well being of families and individuals of all ages the current and future generations of Oregon's families. For many, it is difficult to find and keep a job, for children to do well in school or for a family to function if they don't have housing. Our message to elected officials and agency staff is that housing is fundamental. The most basic activities of life are dependent upon housing. Over-regulation increases the cost and reduces availability and affordability.
MFHCO recognizes that rental housing is a lifestyle choice for many Oregonians and a necessity for a growing number of families. In order for the investment in rental housing to be a sound financial decision, it takes knowledge, prudent decisions and involvement.
