For many, it is difficult to find and keep a job, for children to do well in school or for a family to function if they don't have housing. Our message to elected officials and agency staff is that housing is fundamental. The most basic activities of life are dependent upon housing. Over-regulation increases the cost and reduces availability and affordability.
